In addition to producing performances and educational activities for children and young people, Unga Malmö Stadsteater's artistic director Sara Cronberg also has the task of ensuring that Malmö Stadsteater consciously develops in the area of Arts & Technology through Unga Malmö Stadsteater.

Today we have a socially connected audience, who are used to being active and making their voices heard about what they see on a stage or on other platforms. We must relate to this and in different ways find methods to let the audience speak both before, during and after the theater visit. Using new digital technology is a way to enable greater participation among the young audience, move the audience closer to their audience and explore new opportunities for storytelling. The young audience will be a few years older and will then hopefully visit a theater that can meet their needs. Therefore, it is important that our methods and tools are constantly developed to create a modern and relevant theater.
